Mark Penton - Guitar/Vocals/Writer/Producer Though he was born in Heidelberg Germany (Army Brat), Mark is 3rd generation New Orleans. Since he first ventured down that long, dark hallway at age 12 to meet Hank Mackie, legendary New Orleans guitar teacher and performer, Penton's musical style has grown and evolved to make him a true master of his art. His self-described style is blues, funk and stuff. Throw some rock, gospel and soul into the mix and that only begins to touch the "stuff" he's made of. His earthy, soulful voice blends perfectly with his inspired guitar playing to take his audiences to uncharted territory. From getting his start playing CYO dances in New Orleans's 9th ward to USO shows in S Korea, Bluegrass in the Adirondacks,Funk,R&B and Soul in D.C. and Beach Music in Virginia Beach, Mark has done it all. Mark has played with Eddie Kendricks (The Temptations), Chuck Brown (and The Soul Searchers), Fat Ammon's Band and Tom Jones as well as sharing the stage with countless others. Thomas C. McDonald - Bass/Vocals Thomas C. McDonald brings funky, innovative bass lines to the Pentones along with lead and harmony vocals and the occasional jaw harp solo. Thomas has worked with Raw Oyster Cult, Mardi Gras Indians Big Chief Monk Boudreaux and Big Chief Bo Dollis and Anders Osborn among others. Eddie Christmas - Drums/Percussion Eddie Christmas puts the "power" in this power trio with his masterful drums and percussion. Born in New Orleans, Eddie started playing drums in his home church under the guidance of his mentor, Craig Washington, and marched in the drum corps in middle and high school. He has played and shared the stage with local, national, and international acts. Eddie endorses Soultone Cymbals, Vic Firth sticks, and Remo drumheads.
