Registration Dates
The Entertainment Committee, composed of French Quarter Festivals, Inc. (FQFI) board members, staff, and music industry professionals, reviews all applications and makes booking decisions. The Committee aims to create a diverse, high-quality musical experience for festival-goers. Selection is made at the committee’s discretion. French Quarter Festival exclusively features musical acts local to New Orleans and South Louisiana, and Satchmo SummerFest heavily prioritizes local artists.

Applications for French Quarter Fest performances are now closed.
Applications are currently being accepted through May 1, 2025.
FQFI is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and pays performance fees to all artists booked for festivals. This is possible thanks to financial support from sponsors and donors. FQFI’s Performance Sponsorship Program secures sponsors and ‘pairs’ them with acts once those acts are confirmed to play at the event.
Please note: all artists are paid for their performance, regardless of whether or not they have been ‘paired’ with a sponsor. Securing your own sponsor is not required for selection to perform at FQFI events, and selections are made independently of sponsorship support.
FQFI is always looking for new partners, so if you already have a business, individual, or entity that would like to sponsor your performance, please have them contact our Development Director, Karin Curley, at karin@fqfi.org to discuss the next steps and sponsor benefits.
