French Quarter Festivals, Inc. (FQFI) is now accepting applications for six experiential learning internship positions to support the 2026 French Quarter Festival.
The internships will run from October or November 2025 through April 2026, with flexible weekday schedules requiring a minimum of four in-person hours per week at FQFI’s French Quarter office. Interns will gain hands-on experience in festival planning and execution, while working alongside a professional team dedicated to producing one of New Orleans’ signature cultural events.
All interns must be available to work the full duration of the 2026 French Quarter Festival, April 16–19. Event days will require long hours, outdoor work, and a willingness to take on a variety of physical tasks.
These opportunities are designed for students or early-career professionals looking to build skills in event production, arts administration, and nonprofit management while contributing to the success of one of the city’s most beloved festivals.
