Driving
Driving to Satchmo SummerFest? For convenient parking just outside the festival grounds, attendees are encouraged to use the French Market Lot.
Public Transportation
- RTA Streetcars, Buses, and Ferry: The Riverfront/UPT line has stops near parking lots and the festival. The RTA ferry runs from Algiers Point directly to the festival.
- Streetcar Routes: #11 Magazine, #12 St. Charles, #47 Canal/Cemeteries, #48 Canal/City Park, #49 Riverfront/UPT, and more provide easy access to the French Quarter.

Alternative Options
- Biking: Blue Bikes, the local nonprofit bikeshare program, is a great way to get to and from the festival. To avoid congestion in the French Quarter and make it easier for others to ride, we encourage riders to drop off their Blue Bikes at stations surrounding the Quarter, including Louis Armstrong Park and the New Orleans Jazz Museum. Permanent bike-parking racks are also conveniently located adjacent to and near the festival grounds!
