The Babineaux Sisters Band has been a part of the music scene for several years, bringing their own sound and style to Cajun music. Leading the band are the two sisters, Gracie and Julie Babineaux. Gracie is the lead vocalist and also plays the accordion, fiddle, and mandocaster. Julie is the bassist and vocalist of the band. Along with the sisters is Maci Lopez who plays guitar and provides unique percussion to the group. The Babineaux Sisters Band has played various venues in Louisiana including Festival International, French Quarter Festival, Red River Arts Festival, Mudbug Festival, Festival Acadiens et Creoles, and as well as places across the U.S. The sisters are 4-time recording artists and most recently have established themselves as Nashville artists with their new EP, One of Those, released by Wide Open Records. The EP has reached number 3 on the iTunes Contemporary Country charts.
